Soy wax is 100% natural and bio-based.
Instructions for use:
For an even burn, the candle should be lit for the first time and left to burn for about 3 hours. The candle should not burn for more than 4 hours, and after the first burn, it should be left unlit for at least 2 hours to allow the wax to fully set. The wick should be shortened to about half a centimetre before each subsequent use. Shortening the wick and maintaining the correct burning time will result in an even burning of the candle. Store in a dry place at +4 – +25 °C.
Follow these recommendations to take full advantage of our candles!
Dispose of the contents/container in an appropriately labelled waist container.
Caution! Do not leave the candle unattended, especially when children and/or pets are around. Do not leave the candle unattended near flammable materials (hot surfaces, decorations, curtains, etc.). Stop use when the remaining wax level reaches 1 cm.
May cause allergic skin reactions. Keep away from children.
In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of running water and detergent.
First aid for thermal burns:
1. Stop exposure to high temperatures.
2. Refrigerate the burned area urgently under running cold water for 10-15 minutes. If the burnt part of the body cannot be immersed in cold water, place a piece of clean, lint-free cloth soaked in cold water on the burnt part of the body and turn it away. Change the compress every 2-3 minutes until the pain subsides. You can also apply snow, but do not rub. Sudden cooling reduces pain and stops the damaging effects of high temperatures on the tissues, protecting the deeper layers of the skin.
Refrigerate without removing clothing from the burnt area!
3. Expose the burnt area. For severe burns, take great care to cut and remove the victim’s clothing and footwear. The burnt skin must not be touched with the hands, and no chunks of burnt skin should be removed, blisters punctured or pressure applied to the burnt area. Nor should any ointments, petroleum jelly or solutions be applied, as this reduces the release of heat to the environment. Any ointments shall only be used in the later stages of treatment.
4. Remove rings and bracelets carefully when freezing, as burnt or traumatised tissues become swollen and the rings will choke the blood supply, and it may not be possible to remove them afterwards, unless you cut them off.
5. The burned surface should be treated in the same way as any other wound: covered with a sterile cloth and a clean cloth, and just barely taped.
6. Pain relief (with painkillers if necessary).
7. For burns with only redness and pain, it is enough to apply vodka after a good cooling, and it is not necessary to apply a bandage.
8. If the pain is severe, the burn is deep, a large area of skin, face, eyes, respiratory tract, pharynx and deeper, perineum is burnt, and the body temperature has risen, rush the victim to a medical facility.
